We Can’t Wait to Meet You!
Sunday Morning Worship
Our Sunday morning service starts at 9:30am and lasts about an hour. Our worship consists of prayer, hymn singing, scripture reading, and a message. We like to think of ourselves as “traditional but not rigid", meaning we have a traditional-style service, but with lots of opportunity to participate throughout the worship hour.
What Can I Expect When I Visit?
· When you arrive, you’ll be greeted at the door and offered a bulletin with information for that morning’s service. You’ll see some folks in jackets and ties, but most of the congregation opts for a more business-casual feel. Of course, however you prefer to dress we can’t wait to meet you! There are no strangers at Mt. Crawford UMC, so you’ll have several new friends in no time at all.
We currently do not offer ongoing childcare or children’s church, but we’d love to discuss anything you or your family may need to be comfortable and cared for while you worship with us.
Adult Sunday School
Our adult Sunday School class meets at 10:45am following morning worship in a room just adjacent to the worship space. Lessons consist of informal group discussion about scripture and our lives, so no experience or preparation needed. Everyone from high school age and up is welcome to patriciate!
